YAY, it's Tuesday, time to share our 2nd LeighSBDesigner tutorial with you all😀
Did you miss my debut tutorial last week?

LeighSBDesigner Val is here today to tell you how she created her magical card titled
"Mystical Sunshine".
ENJOY!
Hi Everyone, this is Val and I'm excited to share my first tutorial here at LeighSBDesigns featuring our wonderful new release, Sunshine In Her Hair🌞  This gorgeous digi stamp is now on FLASH SALE until Thursday so dash on over and add her to your collections😉
I began by printing out the digi image onto white Neenah cardstock and coloured her with Prismacolour Pencils.  I coloured the Sun first using shades of yellow and orange.
Then I coloured her hair in shades of yellow, orange and brown.  I used light brown for shading around her face, green for her eyes and a lovely red for her lips.  I finished off my colouring by adding dot highlights to her hair and the Sun with a white gel pen.
To give the Sun a variation in look and texture I coated it with a layer of embossing ink using a Versamark pen or you can use a Perfect Medium pen.
Tip:  Alternatively, you can also paint on embossing ink with a brush using Tim's clear Distress embossing re-inker if you don't have an embossing pen.
I then applied clear embossing powder and heat set to give it a lovely glossy effect.
I then applied Broken China Distress Oxide to the background surrounding her face and hair with a foam blending tool.  I then cut around the image leaving just enough of the blue to give her a wonderful magical aura, I love the effect!
For the background of the card I embossed white cardstock with a swirly pattern embossing folder and applied Squeezed Lemonade, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks to colour and enhance the embossed design.  I then completed my card by mounting the digi panel onto the embossed card then finally onto a folded card blank I made from black cardstock.

Val used the following supplies which you can find at Joggles and Blick Art Materials via my affiliate links!
