Queen of Hearts Challenge Inspiration: "Valentine" Slimline Card by Leigh!

My Challenge #14 Queen of Hearts inspiration for you today is a beautiful Valentine themed slimline card featuring my new Valentine 2023 Collection!

 

I used elements from my fabulous new "Valentine Slimline - Multi-Elements" SVG Cutz Set and the beautiful "Heart Confetti" slimline digi paper from the new "Valentine" Slimline Decorative Digi Paper Pack to make this bold and elegant slimline card.

 

 

First I made the folded card base from black cardstock and adhered the printed "Heart Confetti" decorative paper design, printed onto white cardstock, to the card front.  Using my Silhouette Cameo 4 I cut the "heart beat slimline" overlay from black cardstock and it's matching shadow layer from white cardstock and mounted the layered slimline design to the card front with narrow foam tape to create dimension.

 

 

I then cut the solid "Heart" set from dark red, white and black cardstocks and applied Spectrum Noir Midas gold pigment ink to the edge of the red heart and to the edges of the decorative cardstock on the card front for a luxurious touch of metallic gold.  I adhered the black and white mat layers together with glue, mounted the red heart on top with foam tape for even more dimension and then adhered the assembled heart to the card front.

 

 

 I completed my slimline card with the layered "Valentine" sent.  The overlay word was cut from another sheet of my "Heart Confetti" decorative paper and the layers cut from dark red and black cardstocks.  To add another touch of gold bling to the card I replaced the dot on the "i" with a tiny gold rhinestone star.

LeighSBDesigner Val's Challenge #14 Queen of Hearts inspirational make for you today is a wonderful card featuring a layered Heart and sentiment from my new Valentine 2023 Collection!

 

Val used the solid layered Hearts included in my fabulous new "Valentine Slimline - Multi-Elements" SVG Cutz Set and cut two sizes from red glitter cardstock, one from black and the largest from a creamy yellow cardstock with her Silhouette Portrait 3 electronic cutting machine.  The stacked "You Make My Heart Beat senti is from the "You Make My Heart Beat" Digi Stamp set.  Val then made her card base from black cardstock and added red glitter card and kraft card mats to the front which she then decorated her card with the cut elements as well as various die elements cut from black cardstock, the pretty lace down the left side is a Tim Holtz die.

LeighSBDesigner Val's Challenge #14 Queen of Hearts inspirational make for you today is a dramatic slimline card featuring my new Valentine 2023 Collection!

 

 

To make her slimline card Val used my fabulous new "Valentine Slimline - Multi-Elements" SVG Cutz Set.  Using her Silhouette Portrait 3 she cut out all the various elements as follows:  the Heart, Cupid's Arrow and Love word overlays are cut from red glitter card, shadow layers for everything are cut out of white cardstock and the slimline Heart Beat Frame overlay and mat layers from black cardstock and the slimline background panel from ombré purple cardstock.  She then made a slimline folded card from black cardstock and adhered the slimline layers in place and finished off by adding all the fabulous layered elements.

Love Potion Amulet Slimline Card

LeighSBDesigner Val is back for the finale of our Gothic Valentine Hop with a gorgeous slimline card featuring the "Love Potion Amulet" SVG Cutz Set from my new Valentine 2023 Collection!

To make her gorgeous slimline card Val cut out the layers of the "Love Potion Amulet" SVG Cutz Set from yellow and black cardstocks and filled the aperture with magical confetti shards.

 

 

 Val made her slimline card from black cardstock and added a white panel decorated with a sprinkle of tiny red hearts to the front which she then grunged up with Lumber Jack Plaid and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks.  The "Be Mine" senti is from the un-released Valentine Senti set which is a prize up for grabs for this hop😉
