Grand Finale of 31 Days of Halloween
Wicked Wonderland
Altered Tin and 16 Panels
 by Leigh

I'm back for the grand finale of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities!
I've shared a total of 16 panels throughout CRAFTober featuring designs from my new Wicked Wonderland Halloween Collection.

If you'd like to see all the panels in detail then start your adventure into Wicked Wonderland HERE on Oct 9th.  To see mine and Val's Halloween makes then start HERE on Oct 1st.

Now for my grand finale reveal of the wicked awesome ornate tin I've altered to store all my panels in.

Here's my Wicked Wonderland altered tin with all 16 panels.

The panels are all quite dimensional but they all do fit into the tin, the top 2 panels sit inside the lid when it's closed.

Here's the stack of panels.

The tin I altered is this awesome After Eight chocolate tin I've had in my stash forever just waiting for me to release Wicked Wonderland....I've wanted to do this collection for quite awhile now.

I painted the entire outside of the tin with Finnabair black gesso paint leaving just the gold of the lid rim and the rim along the bottom edge of the base.  I then painted the lid with a combo of orange and yellow acrylic paint and drybrushed vintage gold acrylic paint to enhance the paint texture and pick up on the gold tin rims.

I covered the lid with Cherry Lynn and Tim Holtz spiderweb die cuts in black cardstock adhered with matte Distress Collage Medium.  My Wicked Wonderland Keyhole and Wicked Alice adorn the tin lid.

I used the Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Tiny Type Upper case dies to die cut the "31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN" and the "2025" out of textured green cardstock and used collage medium to adhere those to the tin too.

I gave the digi images lots of magical sparkle with a clear Spectrum Noir glitter brush pen and also painted Alice's eyes and added lots of little details to the scene with glow-in-the-dark paint.

I decorated the sides of the tin with Graphic 45 diamond patterned paper from the Curiouser and Curiouser collection.

I edged both the top and bottom edges of the paper panel with gold and copper metallic border stickers to pick up on the gold tin rims as well as the orange painted lid.

The inside of the tin is a BOOtiful shiny gold which I left intact and adhered a panel scene inside the lid featuring Mad Hatter Wicked Alice and the Furness Forest Wicked Alice Keyhole.

"Let me tell you a story"
Lost In Wonderland chunky chipboard sticker by Prima Marketing.

I also decorated the inside bottom of the tin with another panel featuring "Eat of Drink" Wicked Alice, images from the Falling Wicked Alice collage as well as the "We're All Mad Here" Arrow Sign from the Wicked Arrow Signs set of 18 fun Wonderland and Halloween themed signs and sentiments.

The outside back of the tin is also decorated with another panel and will feature this year's 31 Days of Halloween badge!

Of course my printer had to run out of yellow ink just as I tried to print it and the lime green came out olive, so I'm waiting for the ink to be delivered.

It's now time to get ready for this year's viewing of my faves, Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas!

Thanks for joining us for our 15th annual SPOOKtivities this CRAFTober and a big THANK YOU to Val for all her faBOOlous 31 Days of Halloween makes!
We will see again for our annual Half-o-Ween in May celebrations in 2026 and of course mark your calendars for our 16th annual 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivites....it will be here before you can scream...with delight!

Wishing you all a safe and SPOOKtacular
HALLOWEEN night!

Day 31 of 31 Days of Halloween
"Trick or Treat"
Wicked Witch and Alice
Panel #16
 by Leigh

Alice watched the magic light slowly dwindle as the White Rabbit traveled the Rabbit Hole back down to Wicked Wonderland and sighed sadly when the hole went dark.  Despite her horrific encounter with the Queen of Hearts Alice had enjoyed her Halloween visit to Wicked Wonderland and felt quite sad now the magical adventure was over.

Suddenly, a gnarled robed hand appeared over her shoulder from behind making Alice literally jump out of her skin for the 3rd time that day.

"Welcome back my dear!"
"You look like you've been through a terrible ordeal, here's a nice treat to make you feel right as rain" cackled a wicked voice in the Halloween darkness that made Alice's hair stand on end.

Cupped in the gnarled hand sat a wicked apple that made her tummy grumble despite it's rather unnerving appearance.  The apple gleamed in the moonlight as green liquid oozed down it's curved surface.
"How about just one bite?" encouraged the disembodied wicked voice.

Alice stared at the poison apple and felt the mesmerizing pull of it's swirling eyes.
Screaming in her head she felt her arm raise as she reached out to take the apple.

"Noooo don't take the apple" Alice tried to warn herself.

Suddenly the wicked Rabbit Hole began to glow with intense light as a lightning bolt erupted from it's core and struck the wicked Witch.
The Witch screamed with fury and fled upon her broom.

Alice dashed back over to the Rabbit Hole and called down,
"Thank you for saving me" she said.

"Happy Halloween"
All her friends replied back in unison!

The End!

I'm back for Day 31 of our 31 Days of Halloween SPOOKtivities with the 16th in a series of panels featuring designs from my new Wicked Wonderland Halloween Collection.  The panels will be stored in an ornate tin I'm altering and all will be revealed later today so do stop by again to see my finale post!

I coloured the Wicked Wonderland digi images in Adobe Fresco then printed and fussy cut them all out leaving a narrow white border to make them all "glow" and pop nicely against the background.  The Wicked Witch Robed Hand combined with the Poison Apple I had in my stash already from a past 31 Days of Halloween.

Using the keyhole template I made based on the ornate tin I'm altering, I cut the shape of the main panel from heavy weight black cardstock and 1/4" smaller background mat layers for both sides of the panel cut from the Crafter's Companion Halloween paper pad.  I then edged all the pieces with Spectrum Noir metallic gold pigment ink and adhered them to the black panel.

I adhered the Falling Wicked Alice in place with glue to look like she's jumping out of her skin along with the Wicked Moon.  I then mounted the Wicked Witch Robed Hand to the panel with black foam tape.

Fussy cut from the Falling Wicked Alice collage I embellished the front panel with the jack o' lanterns, bats, a Candy Bat, alchemy symbols, stars, knife and the "Trick or Treat" arrow sign and the back panel with the "Happy Halloween" arrow signs, a jack o' lantern and 2 stars.

I added magical shimmer to the images with a clear Spectrum Noir glitter brush pen and lots of little details to the scene with glow-in-the-dark paint.  I also added glossy accents to the Witch's nails and the poison apple stem.

I added tiny Tim Holtz' Ignite Neon Alcohol ink dots to the eyes of all the pumpkins, then turned on the black light.

So spooky and pretty!

For panel #16 I used

LeighSBDesigns Wicked Witch Robed Hand & Senti Set
