Challenge #21 starts this Friday, I hope to see you all playing along with us in September!
To make her magical Christmas card Val used her Silhouette Portrait 3 and Silhouette Design Studio software to first print then cut out the craft themed Christmas design with a an offset which puts a nice narrow border around the digi stamps. She then coloured up Sandy Oddleigh and her craft supplies with Promarkers with white gel pen details. She mounted the Merry Craftmas Sandy Oddleigh Wreath onto a folded white card made from heavy weight white cardstock and finished off by applying Crystal Stickles glitter to the Merry Craftmas senti, the rubber stamp, paint brush handles, scissors and Sandy Oddleigh's blouse for lots of pretty Christmas sparkle.
For this month's Fan Feature segment I'm delighted to have NanaConnie as my Guest Designer today with her beautiful birthday card featuring my stunning Fall Roses bouquet!

To make her beautiful birthday card NanaConnie printed out the Fall Rosesdigi stamp and used water colour paints to colour the design. She allowed it to dry overnight and then cut the panel with a QuicKutz square die. She mounted the Fall Roses panel onto a panel of brown cardstock which she first embossed with an embossing folder that has a "linen" design.
NanaConnie said she's had the "linen" design embossing folder a long time and used so frequently the company name wore off - if anyone knows the brand name please leave a comment below coz that's an awesome EF and I want one, LOL😉
She then made two hand-tied bows, one from yellow gingham ribbon and the 2nd from brown satin ribbon, which she then layered and adhered together with fabric glue. To complete her birthday themed card she printed out the sentiment and cut it out with a Tonic Studios die then mounted everything onto a 5.5" x 5.5" folded card base made from a heavy weight white cardstock.
