"Winter Sparkle"
Snowflake Sprite Slimline Card

With just one more sleep ‘til Santa’s arrival I’ve got a magical Winter Sparkle slimline card for you today to celebrate the season and the winter solstice featuring my new Snowflake Sprite and one of the wonderful new digi papers from theWhite Snowflakes Striated Marble digi paper pack!
I digitally painted my new Snowflake Sprite in Adobe Fresco in shades of mint and teal then printed and fussy cut her out with an offset using my Silhouette Cameo 4.
I used Crafter’s Companion Starry Night slimline nesting dies to make my card layers. The large die panel is cut from frosty blue glitter card and the pretty insert panel is cut from my“Teal” White Snowflakes Striated Marble digi paper pack! I made the folded slimline card from white cardstock and the mat layer from teal pearlescent cardstock.
I mounted Snowflake Sprite to the card front with foam dots and embellished her snowflake halo, wings and her snowflake dress with Crystal Stickles glitter for even more magical sparkle!
The entire card sparkles with the magic of winter!
Val combined the Yeti and the "Winter Wishes" sentie with the "Azure" White Snowflakes Striated Marble decorative paper prior to printing out on white cardstock and then coloured the Yeti up with Spectrum Noir Blue Mint and Rose Blush TriBlend alcohol markers and embellished with Stampendous Chunky White Embossing Enamel to create her snowy scene.
Val decorated Poinsettia Pixie's wings with Nuvo Glitter Drops for lots of pretty shimmer that does look ever so pretty in real life but so hard to capture in photos.
I digitally coloured Poinsettia Pixie in Adobe Fresco, printed her out and used my Silhouette Cameo to fussy cut her out with a narrow white offset border.
I made my slimline card with Crafter's Companion Gemini Christmas Holly and Berries nesting elements dies and cut the holly panel from green glitter cardstock and the inset panel from my lovely Candy Cane White Snowflakes Striated Marble decorative paper printed on white cardstock.

Snowflakes design has striations in bold red as well as a more muted tone for a lovely vintage look which I used here.
The slimline folded card is made from heavy weight white cardstock and the mat layer from a beautiful pearlescent red cardstock. To finish I mounted Poinsettia Pixie to the card front with foam pop dots for a touch of elegant dimension.
My apologies for the delay in announcing the winners of our 12th annual 31 Days of Halloween Blog Hop, it's been a hellish month or so with my ongoing health issues, multiple vet trips for both of my furbabies plus the chaos caused by the blogger gremlins who hid all the comments you'd received for the hop in your blogger spam folders which brought tallying to a screeching holt until you'd all bravely fought off the pesky beasts!
