I printed Oddleigh Snowflake out twice onto Crafter's Companion Spectrum Noir premium smooth white cardstock and fussy cut out one entire image leaving a white border. The 2nd print I fussy cut out only the snowflake with the hands, dress and scarf without a white border. The full image was matted on black cardstock and fussy cut again leaving a narrow black border.

For lots of magical sparkle I used Diamond Stickles glitter glue on the snowflake, heart earring mitten's and boot fur, scarf and holly leaves. Viva Pearl Magic Transparent White was applied to all the berries and the heart for a touch of shimmer and dimension. The holly and snowflake layers were adhered in place with small pop dots in 2 sizes.

Winter Solstice Faerie Snowflake Shaker Ornament Tutorial by Leigh
For today's tutorial I made a hanging shaker ornament featuring Winter Solstice Faerie from my new Christmas Collection❄️ This beauty is now on FLASH SALE for 25% off until midnight tonight pacific time🎅🏻

Print Winter Solstice Faerie out onto white cardstock suitable for Copic markers and fussy cut out.
Colour with the following Copics
E000, 00, 01 and RV10
BG10, 11 and 13
BV000, 00, 01and 02
B0000, 00 and 23
Colour her moon pendant, her corset fasters and the centers of the hexagonal crystals with a metallic silver gel pen.
Apply Viva Pearl Magic Transparent Lilac dimensional gel to her pendant, moon tiara and snowflake wings and put aside to dry.
Make a round shaker pouch using a clear plastic page protector and a Creative HotMarks tool.
To make my shaker ornament I'm using the cardboard painter's tape tube. Use the tube as the template to create the pouch. The HotMarks tool seals and cuts the plastic as you trace the shape.
Leave a small opening and fill the pouch with snowflakes, tinsel and glitter.
Seal the opening with the HotMarks tool and trim away any excess plastic with scissors if needed.
Base coat the cardboard tube with gesso or white acrylic paint.
Emboss a sheet of white cardstock with a snowflake design. I used Darice's Snowflake Swirl embossing folder.
Cut two strips the same size as the cardboard tube and adhere the embossed strips to the inner and outer sides with glue. Apply clear Wink of Stella to the embossed design.
Adhere the shaker pouch to the tube with Inkssenstials Glossy Accents.
Adhere a snowflake ornament to the other side.
Die cut out two Impression Obsessions Stamps wreath dies plus two sprigs of greenery and holly from the same set from white cardstock and apply clear Wink of Stella for a touch of magical shimmer.
Adhere a portion of one wreath to the top edge with Inkssentials Glossy Accents, adhere the Winter Solstice Faerie and then add more wreath along the bottom edge.
Apply a coat of Diamond Stickles glitter glue to the Christmas greenery and holly leaves and adhere them to the left side of the tube.
Add a single blue pearlescent self-adhesive pearl as a berry.
Adhere 5 smaller pearls randomly around the wreath to complete the ornament.
